Instructions
The easiest way to start is to click the SELL YOUR PIECE button at the left. Then open the instruction page in your preferred language. Or make a print out. Necessary tools are a digital photo camera, soft measure tape and pen & paper.
You need to be registered at Designer-Vintage.com/kids, just click LOGIN or MY ACCOUNT. A registration/login form will automatically pop up.
Fill out the registration fields and make sure you confirm that you will place authentic Designer Pieces only. You can either place a single advertisement for the following fees or become a VIP Member and own a shop with 10 free ads included per bimonthly term.

If you want maximum exposure for your item, upgrade your ad to Go Spotlight. Your ad will randomly move to the top of the list, which will have a bigger impact. This option includes: dynamically rotating photos, a bigger size and an attractive visual. The Spotlight is yours for just 2,50 euros more per advertisement.
Become a VIP member – and own a shop – for just 12,50 Euros for a two monthly period including 10 free ads. Click the BECOME A VIP button in the registration field. You can manage your shop and edit your shop looks in MY ACCOUNT / MY SHOP.
If a buyer contacts you via the CONTACT SELLER button, you can manage your email communication in MY ACCOUNT / MY ADS. Click on MESSAGES and send a reply.
When you sell your designer piece, you can either ask the buyer to transfer the money into your bank account (if international you’ll need your IBAN & SWIFT numbers) or use Paypal.
Then make sure you wrap it carefully, we suggest that you make use of those handy air bubble envelops. Depending on the location use Postal Services or International couriers like DHL/UPS for shipment.

- start all over... ànd hit the homepage again! Click refresh and for only 1,50 euro you're back on track.
- If you want a quick sale: lower your selling price. Fashionista’s are really looking for a great designer bargain.
- Make new pictures. Make them stylish. Use a white background and follow our guide: 1 x full view, 1 x detail, 1 x logo.
- Make sure your label/logo picture is bright and sharp. This way we can put your item in our newsletter and reach thousands of members.
- Give as much info in your description that you have. Make a sales pitch! Mention availability of original box, dustbag, packaging etc.
- Provide measurements, so easy to fill in and buyers really want to know.
If you see a beautiful designer piece that your kid simple must own, just click on the CONTACT SELLER button. Fill out your details and send an email to the seller. Make a serious offer. You need to login for contacting a seller. If you are not registered yet, a registration form will automatically pop up.
You can manage your favorite pieces in MY ACCOUNT at the MY MAIL & FAV’S section. All your email correspondence will be filed here per Designer Piece. If you bookmark a spotted Must Have, it will also appear in MY MAIL & FAV’S.
Make sure you get all the specific details you need about your desired item and make the deal. We suggest you use a financial third party (e.g. Paypal) or transfer the money into the sellers bank account. Discuss the shipping procedures and shipping costs with the seller..
If you are looking for a pink cashmere hermès cardigan for your little girl (anything is possible) and you can’t find it, make it A WISH. We’ll alert you by email or RSS when it’s for sale. Just go to MY ACCOUNT and click at MY WISHLIST.

How do I register?
Just click on LOGIN, on top right. Or click the MY ACCOUNT button on the left. If you are creating an advertisement and are not yet registered, a registration field will automatically pop up before activating your ad.
What happens if I forgot my password?
We will send you a new one by email. Please click forgot password and fill out your username. Then hit enter, and check your mail.
And what happens if I forgot my username?
Please send an email to office@designer-vintage.com and provide us with your first and last name, email address of registration and home address. We will inform you about your username by email.
How do I find what I’m looking for?
You can either click on CATEGORIES, DESIGNERS etc. in the top line and then fine tune your search by date, vintage, condition, country and/or price. Or type the designer your looking for in the search field at the top right.
How do I contact the seller?
If you spot a beautiful designer piece that you simple must own, just click on Details in the ad. And then click CONTACT SELLER and fill out your details. You need to login, if you are not registered yet a registration form will automatically pop up.
How do I pay for my online purchases?
By bank or via a financial third party. Please discuss this with the seller. You can transfer the money by bank. Then you will need an IBAN and SWIFT code. We suggest you use a financial third party, like Paypal. Security first!
How does a third financial party works?
First you both register at this third party. When you come to an agreement, between seller and buyer, the buyer sends the amount to f.i. Paypal. Paypal informs both parties when the money has securely arrived. The seller sends the authentic designer piece to the buyer. The buyer has 7 days to inspect the product, if she’s happy she informs Paypal to transfer the money in to the sellers account.
Who pays for the transport?
You can either split the costs or decide together if it is inclusive in the asking price. Or not..
How do I know that the Designer Pieces for sale are
authentic?
All items placed must be a 100% authentic. All members of Designer-Vintage.com/kids have to confirm upon registration that all their items placed are a 100% authentic. If you have doubts, ask the seller for more specific photos of authentic characteristics. We suggest using a third financial party since you then have 7 days to inspect the received Designer Piece. You can even go to the original designer’s store and ask for their opinion.
How about my privacy?
We view protection of your privacy as a very important community principle. Therefore you can very easy access and modify your personal settings. Just go to MY ACCOUNT and then to personal settings. We only use your email to provide you with our newsletter. If you prefer not to receive this, please email to unsubscribe@designer-vintage.com
How do I change the currency?
Very, very easy….. Just click EUR , USD or JPY at the top of the page!
How do I place my advertisement at Designer-
Vintage.com/kids?
Click the SELL YOUR PIECE button at the left and off you go…! See our help section for more info.
How do I pay for placing my advertisements at
Designer-Vintage.com/kids?
After finishing the 4 steps in SELL YOUR PIECE, take a good look at the final result and then click activate your ad. You are then automatically directed to our payment handling screen. You can use Paypal or the following credit cards: American Express, Visa or Mastercard.
How long will my ad be visible?
For a period of one year. When this period expires, your ad will automatically be removed.
Can I refresh my ad and hit the homepage again?
Yes, you can! Click REFRESH in the MY ADS section. For only 1,50 euro you will start all over again and attract new potential buyers.
What perks do I have as a Designer-Vintage.com/kids VIP member?

- All your ads will automatically be spotlight ads (WORTH 5 EURO EACH!)

How do I become a Designer-Vintage.com/kids VIP member?
Upon registration, click on the purple VIP button and confirm you want to be one of our VIP members. If you arealready registered, click on MY ACCOUNT and click the purple VIP button at the right. In both cases you will be automatically transferred to our payment handling screen.
Can I change my Shop Title?
Yes, you can. Click the MY ACCOUNT button and go to MY SHOP. Then click edit on the first line: shop title. Change and click SAVE.
Can I change my Personal Web address?
No, we’re sorry! If you are a VIP member, all the information in your ads refer to your shop. If you would change your web address, the connection to you from all your paid ads will be lost and buyers will not find you anymore. And we wouldn’t have that, now would we?
Do I really need to ad photos to my advertisement?
Yes, we strongly advise you to do so! We made it very easy for you to upload photos in your ad. And for buying and selling authentic designer pieces, it’s all about looks..
I activated my advertisement, but I don’t see it online?
The first 24 hours all placed items will only be visible for our select group of VIP members. They’ll have the first pick! After this period it will be shown to the rest of the world.
Can I remove my advertisement after it is online?
Yes, you can. Just click the MY ACCOUNT button on the left and then go to MY ADS. Select your ad and click remove. And uh, be sure about the removal. Because once removed, your ad is lost and no refund will be paid.
I want to temporarily put my advertisement offline, is
this possible?
Yes, you can put it ON and/or OFF line as often as you want. Go to MY ACCOUNT and then MY ADS.
Can I make changes in my advertisement after it is online?
Yes, except for the Category and Designer you can edit everything you want. Go to MY ACCOUNT and then MY ADS. Select the advertisement you want to change and click edit. You’re back in the 4-steps-create-an-ad. Click on the step you need. After you made your changes in one of the steps, click Take a Look and you will see the final result. If happy, click SAVE CHANGES. A confirmation mail will be send to you. Be aware of extra payment related to change of asking price.
How do I ship my sold Designer Pieces to the new owner?
You can either use your local Postal Services or make use of international couriers, like DHL or UPS. Or if you live in the same area, you can arrange to meet.
How should it be wrapped?
Make sure you wrap your sold Designer Piece carefully and protect it well. We suggest you make use of those handy are bubbly envelopes. Shoeboxes can be wrapped in paper and/or plastic. You will be surprised to see all the boxes, envelopes and packages available at Postal or department stores.
