The making of a Louis Vuitton Petite Malle handbag

The world went wild when Nicolas introduced the Petite Malle in 2014, a quirky clutch-like bag. The bags are inspired by the original trunks that Louis Vuitton used to make, in particular a custom-made trunk. This trunk was a custom order back in the day by Albert Kahn, a wealthy banker, and his beloved design always featured three white crosses. The Petite Malle definitely breathes new life into the heritage of the house

The handbag is known for its small stature (18cm x 12cm x 4cm) and boxy wooden frame. It comes with a big price tag of €3750, but this gem definitely feels luxurious. It is available in Monogram, Epi, lambskin and exotic leathers.
