The first show without the loved and beloved Karl Lagerfeld for Fendi this season. A real loss for the Italian couture house, which has been working with Karl since 1968. Karl made a lot of iconic and artistic designs for the brand that now become legendary items in its’ history.
Not only he made bag- and couture designs, he also designed their well known double F-logo symbol. The logo that definitely made a real come back this season and which is still loved by the community the brand has built over the years. Let’s not forget about one of the most amazing shows in fashion history that took place in 2007, when Mr. Lagerfeld decided to shake up the world with a show on the Great Wall of China. 88 models from among others Asia showed Eastern and Western inspired outfits, created by Silvia Venturini and Karl himself.
The Fendi Baguette bag, designed in 1997, has been one of the first “IT-bags” the world has ever known. Since its’ appearance on Sex and The City it has been every Womens’ dream to own one. After several years, the baguette bag kept its’ IT-status and is probably known for being the baguette that never fed us more in life.
The good plus on the Fendi Baguette? It suits every single occasion and blends with every outfit. There is a Fendi Baguette for all of us, the designs are limitless and every item seems to be exclusive. Still looking for your perfect Baguette bag? Or for styling options?
