Chanel's new pop-up boutique in Amsterdam

22 April 2016

Last wednesday Chanel opened the doors of their temporary brand store, just a few meters away from the main Chanel Boutique in the P.C. Hooftstraat, that is currently being renovated. The temporary store has been beautifully designed and is well worth a visit.

With a facade made of glass and bricks, Chanel creates a total wow look! By using glass the customer can clearly see all the beautiful Chanel items. However the archtitect had to play by the rules of the building permit that required that 20 percent of the facade to be made out of bricks. That's how Architect Winy Maas came to the brilliant idea of mixing the original bricks with bricks made of glass.

The current store will re-open later in 2017.
