Oscar de la Renta dies at age 82

21 October 2014

Couture, glamour and lots and lots of flowy fabrics. Yes, that's Latin American designer Oscar de la Renta. To our saddest regret and shock we've learned today that designer Oscar de la Renta died at the age of 82.
Also known as the Sultan of Suave, he has been dressing the stars and other beautiful privileged young ones ever since he set foot on American soil (1963 to be exact). By the way, not only socialites or any stylish celebrities swoon over his dresses, he has also been First ladies Hillary Clinton and Laura Bush’s couturier of choice. His latest design being Amal Clooney's dress (yes we drooled as well), he did show the world what a gorgrous dress should look like.
We have to say goodbye to a very influential and celebrated designer who will definetly leave a lasting impression on everyone who loves fashion. They don't make Renta Glamour anymore nowadays.
